Behold, my summer project!
My boss Gord gave me his trail bike. Works fine, just have to rework the engine, get the rust out of the gas tank (CLR or any bathroom cleaner with Sodium Phosphate will do the trick) , clean out eh carb and filters and repaint it. My plan is to do that this summer and resell the bike for 300-500 bucks.

It's funny, I tell me dad about it and the first thing out of his mouth is "Deb's gonna let you ride it?!?!"

So here's the deal, I'm not going to ride it. For all of you that know me, I'd probably get hurt or do somethign relatively stupid. But i am going to rebuild it and sell it.

Yeah I was goofing off with my cell phone. Which BTW i'm taking back to telus cause the ear piece stopped working and they're going to replace it with a brand new model, which I have to make sure i bring in tommorrow cause the warrantee runs out on April 3rd and after that they have to send it off for a repair.

Last post for today.

As some of you know, me and deb have been planning on going to vancouver for our honeymoon from Feb 3-5th.

Well as of yesterday we decided to go on our honeymoon a lil bit earlier. Like Tommorrow (January 20) . We have to wake up early to go get our hair cuts and do a lil bit of shopping before we go to the ferry to vancouver. Its going to be a lil bit more expensive than it would be when we planned out trip for Feb. But only marginally. $184 compared to $162.

So we should arrive at our hotel around 3 or so. CHeck in, go do a lil bit of wandering/shopping for a few hours and then tommorrow evening we're going to The Edgewater Casino to hit the slots, blackjack and a lil bit of craps. Saturday we're planning on going to granville island. CHeck out the market there and oh yeah we're gonna hit up China Town.

Plus I reserve the right to get some sushi. Hell Sushi bars in downtown vancouver are like star bucks. They're all over the place, only the sushi is cheaper.

Hehe in fact It's funny how many star bucks there are. we saw 2 starbucks that were literally right across the street from each other and another right around the corner and another just down the street. We'll email or post pics from out honeymoon when we get back

Snow!!!!

Yeah that sounds like a good topic. You know how often I've seen snow this winter? Twice! Maybe 3 times tops. 2 out of 3 times was here in Roberts Creek and both times it melted within a day or 2.

And the first time was in ancouver when we went to the country club for a christmass dinner with Debbie's Uncle (Ozzie)

Wow It's been a while since we've updated this page.

Lets recap the last 6 months here.

Last August the family here moved into our new home. Nice house right here in Roberts Creek. In fact the ocean is right behind our backyard. Literally. You walk down to the end of our backyard, follow a rope down the slope for 15 feet and then go down the ladder (10 feet) to the beach. So last summer in august and september i was going out to the beach everyday at low tide sitting out on the rocks way out there and fishing. For a while I had to use a cheap extendable pole i got for cheap at Saan's fro $7.00 until i got around to getting a reel for one of the poles we had here. I wouldn't catch a fish everyday. In fact i would see salmon jumping in the ocean just out of reach of my P.O.S pole but i would manage to catch some Sole (Flounder). And in September/October I got creative and made a crab trap out of chicken wire and rope. First day I tried it, I caught the same damned crab 3 times in a row. Alas all the fish left for the season so fishing is off for a few more months.

Oh and check out the jellyfish i got out of the ocean with a stick.

PLus back in October I walked down to the general store and where the road crosses over the creek, i looked down and saw salmon swimming in the current. So of course i went back home, told deb that i was gonna catch a salmon and an hour later i was back home with a nice big salmon probably about 20 pounds. Just jumped straight in the creek, picked up the salmon slammed it's head in the rocks and took it home. 2 days later me and deb went for a walk and i just "hppened" to have my backpack. and of course you know me. I jumped straight in the creek and got another salmon. which I just recently used a portion of it to make a salmon quiche. The Funny thing is that I has to use my hand ax to chop off the salmon meat i needed to make the salmon quiche.

You know whats really good to do?

to get out of town for a day. Last monday (June 13) Debbie and I (don) went to vancouver to pick up my new passport, have lunch with Debbie's uncle and for my immigration physical.

Well when we got to the US Consulate, my passport was waiting for me and only took my 5 minutes to get and from there we walked around downtown Vancouver. USed the giftcard I found on the street (valued at $3.28) and got a bar of "BITCH" soap and some mokey nuggets. Took care of some stuff at the canadian immigration office. Had a good lunch with debbie's uncle (Ozzie) and pretty much wandered around downtown vancouver all day.

Just being ouut of the house all day and enjoyuing ourselves was the most relaxed and stressfree either of us have been in months. We highly recomend going out and going people watching for a day.

It's funny to notice people and seeing all of the strange sort of people on the streets like the transvestite (which was scary BTW)
